seniors review

Seniors directed by vyshak is yet another fairy tale story setting college life as background:-):-) one should say the film is largely influenced from the movie classmates with almost a similar plot though it is wrapped in new colours and comedies which promises to make you glued to the screen.vysak had a huge expectation to meet after the runaway success of his debut film pokkiriraja, he had to prove that his effort was not be called as a one movie wonder.seniors ha's been scripted by sachi-sethu whose last film doubles crashed at the box office. The first and best thing which stands out in the movie is its casting itself. casting biju menon, kunchako, manoj k jayan and jayaram as college going students will itself ignite the laughter:-):-) when one come to see vijaya ragavan as the principal and suraj as the lab in charge it would be like adding spice to the already spicy dish:-) but everybody jells in perfectly.the story revolves around the 4 classmates who had finished their college lives and settled looking after each of their respective family apart from jayaram who has been in jail for 12 years convicted on a murder charge.on returning back from jail he forces the other three to join the college to pursue higher studies.infact he convinces them to join the same college from where they passed out 12 years ago. the person convicted for murdering his junior and his friends returning to the college forms the rest of the plot.the usual parallel love story of a couple going unseen will be unveiled as in classmates which wil unfold the suspense of this movie too.:-)the movie is a Racy entertainer and you want know the time running out.vijayaragavan reminds you of booman irani in 3 idiots but he really gives something to laugh about.but in the end one should say an old wine served in new bottle.
